Stray Cats San Antonio Concert reviews
Overall decent concert, but I've seen better
After almost 3 years waiting for this tour, I hate to say it, but Stray Cats was disappointing. They definitely had some sound issues and Vince Neil seemed out of breath and unable to hit some of the notes. I saw Stray Cats in the 80's so for me this was more nostalgic than anything else. The heat was almost unbearable at first, but that's to be expected at an outdoor concert in South Florida in the middle of June. Tommy Clufetos was a beast on drums and did an amazing job filling in for Tommy Lee (get well soon Tommy!). Nikki Sixx and Mick Mars saved the show for the Crue - those two are amazing musicians. Joan Jett, Poison, and Def Leppard met my expectations - they all put on a great show and the audience was really engaged. They definitely had some sound issues and Vince Neil seemed out of breath and unable to hit some of the notes. It was nice to see these groups together and playing their hearts out after all these years!
